"Devon Ferguson was born in Toronto, Canada, but then moved and grew up in Ottawa, which means he can also speak French. Pretty fancy, right?

He graduated from Humber College’s Acting for Film/Television Program and trained at Second City, UCB, and The Groundlings.

After realizing he wouldn’t get cast in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia while in Vancouver, Devon saved money from restaurant jobs to buy camera gear and pursued writing and directing. He won multiple commercial contests, working with brands like Lays, Doritos, Kraft, and Shell. His Doritos spec spot Selfish Sneezers earned him a 1 in 10 chance at winning $1 million and a Super Bowl commercial.

In 2021, his Stare commercial won multiple Cannes Silver Screens for humor and earned him a 2022 SHOTS nomination for Best New Director. In 2023, his comedy short Christmas Threesome was recognized by the Shark Awards and longlisted for the One Point Four Awards.
